About the Artist
I'm an internationally collected, published artist from Northern Maine.
My inspiration is the landscape and the people around me. We have a unique culture in Northern Maine. I live amongst a lot of hard working individuals who value small communities. I am also inspired by trees. I feel that they are like humans who are stuck in one spot observing their surroundings for their entire life. They have a lot of personality without having the ability to speak or travel.
My style is a cross between surrealism, impressionism and realism. I usually lean toward one style when painting, but try to incorporate aspects of each.
I have been selling my work for 10 years, and have sold to over 40 countries, and all 50 states. I also provide online painting lessons on my website.
