About the Artist

I have recently retired to Bella Vista, Arkansas. However, I was born and raised in Chicago and have an undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago. I worked on an advanced degree in Art History at the same university and studied in Europe on fellowship for a summer. My interest in art has been long-standing. My father was a commercial artist who did his renderings in pastels. This is what started me on my career. My life’s mission as an artist is to discover a new way of looking at things – a new vision that makes me feel better about myself and the world around me. My artwork represents a lifetime of reflection and transfiguration of stored memories.
