This piece was inspired by the vibrant colors I enjoyed while on vacation in Hawaii. Heavy layers of hard molding paste were applied to 'draw the eye in.' Wet-on-wet technique was then used to allow the paint to flow together surrounding the texturing medium. A high gloss varnish was applied to finish this piece.
